About me

I moved to the UK from Ukraine in 2012. I got my qualification and started my career in psychodynamic counselling in England in 2019. Now, I work online with clients from all over the world. I also offer in-person sessions in Dundee, Scotland.

I came into counselling from a background of academia and student support in higher education. Counselling is not just a job for me. From my own experience, I know how difficult it might be to face challenges in life and find ways to cope. I have my own history of going through therapeutic changes with the help of therapy in the past before I chose a career in counselling. Now, I have a passion for supporting others in their uneasy times and helping them bring some meanings to their experiences.

From my personal experience, I know that at some point of our life we might need somebody 'to turn to' who can listen, understand, accept us as we are that can make a 'huge difference'. In my counselling sessions, I offer a safe, supportive, non-judgemental and accepting space to explore your current circumstances and past experiences while bringing awareness of the underlying causes of your present issues, making sense of your struggles and finding ways to move forward in life.

Also, current conflicts, crises and unrest in general in the world might contribute to such negative feelings as insecurity, anxiety, frustration and overwhelmedness. However, you don't have to struggle by yourself. I'll be happy to support you in your therapy journey. Furthermore, I believe that acknowledging the issue and seeking help can be already your first steps forward towards positive changes. So, well done!
