About me

I moved to the UK from Ukraine in 2012 and began my career in psychodynamic counselling in England in 2019, after qualifying. I now work online with clients from around the world, as well as offering in-person sessions in Dundee, Scotland.

I came into counselling from a background of academia and student support in higher education. Counselling is more than a profession for me. From my own experience, I understand how challenging life can be, and how difficult it can be to find ways of coping during uncertain times. I have personally experienced the value of therapy and the process of change it can support, which ultimately led me to train as a counsellor.

In my counselling sessions, I offer a safe, supportive, non-judgemental and accepting space to explore your current circumstances and past experiences while bringing awareness of the underlying causes of your present issues, making sense of your struggles and finding ways to move forward in life. 
 
In my group work, I facilitate supportive and reflective spaces where participants can explore their experiences, emotions, and inner processes through shared dialogue, guided reflection, and creative or experiential exercises.​

I am a great nature lover, and have recently created a beautiful space for wellbeing sessions in Dundee Botanical Garden. With the support of AUGB Dundee, I facilitate wellbeing sessions for the Ukrainian community, and I am open to developing this work with wider communities and organisations.
